 Jazz Ensemble
This group meets during zero hour with Mr. Balog. Wind players and percussionists must be a member of the Symphonic or Concert Band to be a member. Pianists, guitarists, and bass guitarists do not need to be a member of the concert bands to participate. 2008-2009 auditions begin on August 13, 2008 during zero hour in Room 104.
Jazz Combos
These small groups (3 - 6 members) are an extension of the jazz ensembles. All combos meet outside of class and emphasize jazz improvisation.
All jazz groups perform at various school and community functions, two concerts, and 3-5 competitions.The groups of the jazz program have won and placed in many competitions.
If you are interested in these groups, sign-up for zero hour Jazz Band. Auditions and band placement are done during the first week of school.
