| Brad Balog has taught at Lafayette High School since 2000. He has served as Director of Bands at Lafayette since the Fall of 2003. Mr. Balog is a 1998 graduate of Truman State University where he studied Trumpet with Dr. Greg Jones. Mr. Balog was a Graduate Assistant at Truman State University from 1999-2000, where he studied conducting with Mr. Dan Peterson and Dr. David Nichols. He earned a Master of Arts in Conducting in 2000 and a Master of Arts in Education in 2001 from Truman State University. At Lafayette High School, Mr. Balog teaches the Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble, Pit Orchestra, Lancer Regiment Marching Band, and Home Court Advantage. Traci Bolton has been an educator in St. Louis County since 2000 and became Assistant Director of Bands at Lafayette High School in fall of 2004. Mrs. Bolton has a Master's degree from Missouri State University in Springfield, MO where she served as a Graduate Assistant from 1998-2000. At MSU, she directed the Freshman Honor Band as well as the SMS Stage Band. She assisted with the 360-member Pride Marching band and both the men's and women's basketball bands.
At Lafayette High School, Mrs. Bolton teaches the Symphonic Band and assists with the Wind Ensemble, Pit Orchestra, Lancer Regiment Marching Band, and Home Court Advantage. Jeremy Melton is the director of percussion at Lafayette High School. He received his degree from UMSL where he performed with the Percussion Ensemble, Afro-Cuban Ensemble,University Band, the University Singers, and the chamber group Vocal Point.
